In June 2010, our family suffered an unimaginable loss when our beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend lost her life to breast cancer. Knowing that time was precious, our family was able to rearrange schedules and do what was needed to comfort Jenn during her treatment. Our family was fortunate to be able to withstand the financial burdens that were not covered by health insurance and to make sure that Jenn had everything that she needed.
Jennifer’s Gift of Hope is a foundation created for Maynard and surrounding Massachusetts communities that strives to help individuals and families who are battling cancer. Our foundation’s goal is to support families in these communities who incur overwhelming hardships due to a diagnosis of cancer.
The foundation was started by the Long, DiSilva and Luchetti families to honor Jenn’s wish to be able to help others endure what she and her family faced. 100% of all money raised for this foundation is allocated to those in need. Jennifer’s family volunteers their time and effort to keep her memory alive and to also to help those in need.
